What we do

Three lines of business, one partner.

A focused fruit portfolio, flavour partners who extend it, and enough market access to know what is worth making. The three feed each other — a perfect reason for them to sit in one company.

01

Trading fruit

We buy and sell by variety and by grower.

How it is sourced

  • Exotic fruit from South America and South-East Asia
  • Red fruit and berries, in season and counter-season
  • Globally-sourced range of citrus fruits
  • IQF fruit — individually quick-frozen, sourced across Europe and Asia
  • Juice, purée, concentrate and coconut water

02

Strategic partnerships

Long-term cooperation with producers, rather than spot buying, allows us to bring our customers quality products at a competitive price.

Current partnerships

  • Malwatte Valley, Sri Lanka — Ceylon teas and spices, processed on the estate
  • Thabico Group, Vietnam — juice, coconut, IQF and freeze-dried fruit from their own plants
  • Cisol, Brazil — orange and lemon juice, concentrate and NFC, plus citrus oils
  • Diamalteria, Italy — barley malt extract, produced the same way since 1909
  • Agrizy, India — mango, papaya and guava out of their processing network across India
  • Aran Group, Israel — aseptic bag-in-box packaging; we are official commercial agent for their German office
02

Through trading we understand which products fit the market

Thanks to our trading activities we continuously get to speak to our clients. This is how we learn more about what a category is missing, more than any market report could ever reveal. This is the origin of our development work.

01

Trading

We are in the market constantly, interacting with the people who make and sell the finished product.

02

What we hear

Buyers share with us their pain points, giving us a daily, broad overlook of the industry.

03

Thinking it through

We bring the right partner in: a flavour house, a processor, a producer, and work the idea until it is solid enough to launch.

04

Concept development

Formulation, sourcing and the route to production, so it lands as a product rather than a proposal.

03

Bringing concepts to reality

Consulting on added-value ingredient development: flavours and compounds, built together with partner companies. Our team consults, connects the right companies, and stays involved with the project until the product is ready.

How it usually runs

  • A company has an ingredient idea but no route to a producer
  • We scope what is actually makeable at the volume and price in question
  • We connect the producer, the processor and the buyer, and hold the project together
  • The result is a market-ready product, not a feasibility study
